What a perfect start to our trip! We arrived to the sound of the ocean and woke up to a beautiful, peaceful beach with turtles swimming nearby. The location was quiet and serene, unlike other hotels. The chef's magic touch made our Sri Lankan food experience unforgettable, especially the fried rice and homemade chili sauce. The hotel provided a water can, a unique amenity, and the breakfast of string hoppers was delicious. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities.
I do recommend this hotel.

As adventure travelers, we loved the homely experience of Isle of Thalpe. The private beach and peaceful location provided the perfect backdrop for our adventures. The amenities were basic but functional, with a comfortable bed, good aircon, and a big TV with cable and Netflix. The manager/cook was accommodating and prepared delicious meals, both Western and Eastern. The warm sea water and the wooden deck right on the beach made for a memorable stay. The staff was kind and the private beach with good facilities was a plus.
Felt very well looked after; no complaints.

The view was stunning, and we had direct access to the beach. The bed was really comfortable, and we enjoyed the privacy of our room. Plus, the toiletries were of good quality.
We were really disappointed by the noise from the road and the lack of atmosphere in the evening. Also, the shower kept flooding the bathroom, which wasn't romantic at all. We didn't feel like the staff cared about our experience, as they didn't do anything to fix the issue. our romantic escape wasn't what we expected, and we wouldn't recommend this hotel.
